I have interacted professionally with most if not all of Carteret County’s real estate companies since 1990. In my experience I have found MCKRE to be professional, organized and experienced. Most notably their marketing efforts are elite not just for this market but among any markets. The numerous ways in which MCK Real Estate supports and interacts with our local community cannot be overstated. They highlight local business on a weekly basis, host events that help stock food pantries and support local charities, have established scholarships for local graduates, donate breakfasts to teachers/schools, and partner with The Boys and Girls Club to raise money for local families to name just a few examples. They truly care about our community and helping the people in it!

Phenomenal community support and it is amazing to see a company complete so many different outreach programs…particularly those around the schools and supporting teachers ❤️

I’m giving 5 stars because 6 are not available. We worked with Mary Cheatham to purchase an out-of-state property. There can be a lot of anxiety with purchasing a property that isn’t just around the corner. And you need a lot of trust in your agent to make sure they are representing your best interest. Our agent-team was on-the-ball in answering all our questions and ensuring that our best interest were represented. We trusted them completely. I would highly recommend that anyone buying (or selling) a house in Emerald Isle, NC work with the team at Mary Cheatham. You’ll definitely be in good hands.
