I’m giving 5 stars because 6 are not available. We worked with Mary Cheatham to purchase an out-of-state property. There can be a lot of anxiety with purchasing a property that isn’t just around the corner. And you need a lot of trust in your agent to make sure they are representing your best interest. Our agent-team was on-the-ball in answering all our questions and ensuring that our best interest were represented. We trusted them completely. I would highly recommend that anyone buying (or selling) a house in Emerald Isle, NC work with the team at Mary Cheatham. You’ll definitely be in good hands.

Quick to respond, knowledgeable of the local area and real estate law, helpful, friendly, and professional — and even though they had a full load of clients when they were working with us, we always felt as if we were #1, especially with the timeliness of communication (which is extremely important in real estate!). The entire MCKRE team went above and beyond my expectations!! I’ve worked in real estate before and have worked with many realtors from the customer’s side, and I can say hands down that we will only work with this team going forward. It did not take me long to figure out why everyone- and I mean everyone - advised me to use Mary Cheatham King Real Estate to find a home. First, you don’t get an agent- you get a team of very professional, knowledgeable, hard working and personable women. I can’t say enough nice things about my team consisting of Brittany Segur, Blair Van Coutren and Makenzie Ethridge. Another plus with this team is that I received daily updates of homes in the Morehead area in my price range. I avoided wasted time and looking through hundreds of homes each day. After two weeks of browsing, I came to Morehead to house hunt. My team chauffeured me around each day, provided detailed facts on each home, helped me understand the pros and cons of each neighborhood and answered every single question I had. In a very short time, I was under contract thanks to skillful and experienced negotiations by my team.
