I recently purchased a new home in Morehead City, North Carolina with the guidance of several professionals at Mary Cheatham King Real Estate. My first contact was with Buyer Specialist, Belinda Whitlatch. I first met her two years ago and planned to return to my home in Rhode Island to begin the process of packing up my home to get it ready to put on the market. I told Belinda I would return to North Carolina in a few months to begin the search for a new home. Unfortunately, due to a family tragedy in 2020 and then COVID, it took much longer than anticipated. Belinda kept in touch often during that time, continually sending me homes that were available in the areas of North Carolina I was interested in. I was in North Carolina for several weeks this past summer and Belinda and Lisa showed me several homes. I did not find a new home at that time. Right before Thanksgiving, Belinda sent me pictures of a home that checked most of the boxes on my list. She had a good feeling for what I wanted in a home. I liked it right away. Belinda then offered to have Lisa do a face time walk through with me. I wasn't sure if I could put an offer in on a home I had never seen in person. I asked my sister and her husband, who live in North Carolina, to take a ride to see this home. They did and they loved it. They told me I should put in an offer because they didn't think it would be on the market long. I made an offer, was on pins and needles for a few days, and it was accepted! That began the process of Belinda, Mary and Kate walking me through every step of the buying a home process. They were great and made everything easy. I would not hesitate to recommend Mary Cheatham King Real Estate to family and friends. I would especially recommend Belinda who I felt always had my best interest at heart. Peggy DelGaudio
