As the executrix for my mother's estate, I engaged Christina Fulcher and her team and Mary Cheatham King to represent our interests in the sale of my mother's vacation property in Pine Knoll Shores. Having some experience as a realtor myself, my expectations of a realtor representing me were quite high and I was extremely pleased with the talent, effort, tenacity, attentiveness and professionalism exhibited by Christina and her team. We were selling at time when interest rates were rising, a period that was not the "hot selling season," and overall a market in the process of a lot of change with unusual dynamics. Christina's ability to read the market and her outstanding negotiation skills allowed us to get the property sold quickly and for an excellent price. I live in a different state from the property we were selling and Christina's team was amazing with regard to helping me find the right folks to take care of things at the property and they personally handled things I was not there to do like returning cable boxes, and making periodic checks of the property, heat and ac settings, etc. The entire team was amazing with regard to communicating with me and with each other to keep everyone in the loop. In addition, the whole team was just a pleasure to work with.

We have enjoyed our condo at the beach for 35 years and now sad about selling. The Mckre staff made selling it from a distance so painless. They organized the cleaning, staging and selling along with the paperwork and legal procedures . What a team!

In the summer of 2022, I decided to sell my ocean front house in Pine Knoll Shores. I decided to contract with MCKRE in July and they went right to work with many of the preliminary jobs so I was able to approve listing in September right after one of my sons visited. For example in July and August, they handled getting a home and septic inspection, staging the house for photos, hiring a cleaning service, and completing many other necessary jobs. The inspection report was 47 pages long! Thank goodness they let me know the most important items that should be fixed. There were many small things that I could not do from Raleigh. Someone on my team arranged for those jobs. Because there was a whole team of people helping me, I felt very lucky to be able to ask them to check on the porch furniture before a storm or make sure that the automatic lights were setup correctly. The team also kept me informed about the showings, the visitors' comments, as well as the real estate market at the beach. They were helpful, knowledgeable, and so personable and kind. It was a really comfortable experience even though selling a house is usually confusing and stressful.
