My husband and I recently purchased a second home in Beaufort with MCKRE and cannot recommend this group more! We have been looking to purchase a beach/coastal home in a few different areas for a year or so and when we finally decided on Beaufort, we happened upon MCKRE. We worked with Kelly Hefferon who was absolutely fantastic- she was super responsive to all of our questions and concerns and was always willing to make time (or find another agent) to show us properties when we were able to make a last minute trip to Beaufort (we live in Raleigh). She also went to several properties and did video walk throughs for us when we couldn't make a trip down! Kelly was also phenomenal in helping us work through the offer/negotiation process. Once we had an accepted offer, Annie and the entire MCKRE team kept us informed and organized with all of the things that needed to be done in preparation for closing. And they were especially helpful to us as we navigated this process from afar. We couldn't have asked for a better experience, they made it as easy as it could be!

Working with Liz and her team — Lori, Amanda and Anne— was an outstanding experience from start to finish. Their communication was consistently clear, timely, and thoughtful, which made a complex process feel manageable and well-supported. They provided expert guidance on selling the property, bringing deep knowledge and professionalism to every step. They handled the coordination of multiple owners seamlessly, ensuring each of us had the information and support we needed. I am grateful for their expertise, patience and dedication. We cannot say enough about the teams at MCKRE. We have never experienced the level of service from both the buy and sell teams, they were on top of everything, every day. If we ever have the need again we will absolutely use MCKRE again.
