It was such a pleasure working with Mary Cheatham King Real Estate. The entire team was professional and courteous. Each team member doing an outstanding job. We loved dealing with them in selling our home and are continuing our relationship with them in finding our new forever home. I would highly recommend this group of wonderful people!

We could not have been happier with our recent home purchase experience through Kelly Hefferon, a Lead Buyer Specialist at the KW Mary Cheatham Team. Kelly is efficient, resourceful, professional, and just darn pleasant to work with! She’s a great communicator, and her follow up was immediate and follow thru was beyond reproach. We always felt like she was acting in our best interest. As out-of-town buyers, we leaned heavily on Kelly to educate us on local neighborhoods from Beaufort to Swansboro. She and her fellow agents coordinated well to arrange property showings. Kelly and team helped us get everything in place so when we found our home, we were well-positioned for smooth and efficient negotiations. Because we were out of state during much of the due diligence, we were grateful for their suggested resources that allowed us to adequately evaluate the property. Blair, Colleen, McKenzie and others at KW were also fantastic! I should add I’m a CCIM with many years of commercial real estate experience. I can honestly say our transaction from start to finish was as pleasant and positive as I’ve ever experienced. Having not worked with a team before, I didn't know quite what to expect, but I was certainly pleased with the results. Each team member was an expert at what they did and it made the entire selling experience go smoothly. I highly recommend!

As a person who recently sold a home (jointly with my sister), I was doing some soul-searching. What would be the hardest--selling or finding a realtor? It turned out that deciding to sell the family home (102 years old) was hard. However, working with the Team at Mary Cheatham King (MCK)was painless. At my age (non-disclosure), I've bought and sold homes., But, working with the Team at MCK was the easiest sale I've ever experienced. Lest you think it was an up close and personal sale, I was the only one who met Christina Fulcher. They say it's not what you know but who you know. I was introduced to Christina Fulcher through word of mouth from my son, a summer resident. I remember Christina being pleasantly surprised at the house's condition for its age. Her professionalism also struck me in her dress and real estate market discourse. Once the word got out that a house on Ann Street, Beaufort was on the market, realtors and interested buyers came out of the woodwork. After all the offers were on the table (not from the MCK Team), it became a no-brainer. But, again, the MCK Team was the best of the best. We listened to Christina's invaluable input. She knew how important the timing was when putting a house on the market. She was spot-on correct in that department, also. The MCK Team has its brains on the local real estate market. They knew how to price the house. They knew how to stage the home, and they knew how to market the house for optimal selling price. Most impressive to me was their scheduling. The Team set a schedule for staging, photos, open houses, online tours, etc. Once the schedule was established, the plan went into action. From start to sale, there were no deviations. The above being said, I don't mean the Team is rigid. I mean, they know their business and how to make things work on time and in an orderly fashion. Neither my sister nor I were present for anything except for my initial meeting with Christina. All legal documents were done without us traveling from Maine and Denver. I could write about other things the Team does well, but I'll let you be pleasantly surprised. So do yourself a favor and stick with one-stop shopping.
