When I was offered a dream position that required moving, one huge stress loomed large - selling the house. Little did I know that working with Christina and her team at Mary Cheatham King Real Estate would make the process easy, efficient, successful, and downright enjoyable! From the first day we discussed working together I felt confident, supported, and listened to. The steps we needed to follow were presented, and the MCK team worked around our schedules to make everything as easy as possible. I was worried about the photographer coming when we still had a few boxes stacked in rooms, and Pleasants, the design consultant, assured me that the photographer could keep her back to the boxes and capture the rooms just fine, which was a relief. We were able to schedule the inspection and measurements at times that were convenient for us, and when we had a few repairs that were needed, MCK found the person to handle those too! Christina provided data to help us determine the price point for our house (it ended up being the perfect amount) and it was wonderful to have comparison houses and statistics on how a high listing price does not always bring the highest selling price. When showings began we always felt as if we had control. We received notifications of requests which we could accept or decline, and were sent feedback after the tours concluded. The closing was handled without a hitch. While the mechanics of the sale are enough to make me wish I could use them again and again, what truly topped off the experience was the kindness, professionalism, support, and commitment to doing the right thing. Christina even checked in and provided some information while she was on vacation because she knew we were interested! The teamwork displayed was exemplary, and I knew I could reach out to any one on the team to get assistance. Thank you Christina, Melissa, Jessica, Pleasants, Landie, and everyone in the group who got our house listed, and sold, so quickly for what we wanted. If you are looking for the best group to sell your house, look no further.

My wife and I purchased a home in Pine Knoll Shores to retire to. My wife past and I was left with the task of renovating the house and putting it on the market for sale. The whole experience was a living nightmare, from dishonest contractors to nosey neighbors. Until I was introduced to Cristine with Mary Cheatham King Real Estate. They stepped in and listened to my concerns. Made sure that the contractor working on the house finished the job and stopped him from bleeding me dry. I live three hours away, so I was unable to be there and oversee what was going on. They stepped in and made sure that the home passed inspection and was ready to be put on the market. The only good experience out of this whole situation was the relationship I formed with Christine and her team. If you are considering buying a vacation home on the east coast of NC and you need someone local that knows the market and you can trust, that has your best interest in mind. Then you need to contact Christine, not only for her knowledge of the market, but she is someone you can trust. That is a rare quality in the world today.
