We recently purchased a home in Down East and the listing agency was Mary Cheatham King Real Estate Group. As a buyer, I reached out to the agent and was told a buyers agent would call me soon. Annie literally called minutes later. She met us that day in a down pour with a smile. We submitted an offer which was also accepted that day and in minutes, Annie, Kelly, and Mackenzie jumped into action. They provided daily updates, offered suggestions on inspections and really fought for us as buyers despite the buyer and seller agents being all in-house. I was super impressed with the communication, professionalism, and especially the kindness. They add a little more goodness to a difficult business. A month after closing, they are still a phenomenal source of resources and have helped us move forward with making this special place even more grand. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

We were so lucky to work with Laura Montocchio and Annie Peters at MCKRE on our latest military move from Tampa to Cape Carteret! Due to our extremely busy schedules and the pending sale of our previous home, we were unable to do any house hunting in person, so we relied entirely on their expertise and guidance as we narrowed down our choices. They met with us early on via Zoom to get a feel for what we were looking for and they were super flexible in doing FaceTime showings at times that worked with our schedules. In the end, we decided to purchase a new build that was nearing completion and the ladies bent over backwards liaising with the seller’s agent and builder to ensure that we were able to select finishes so we would get exactly what we wanted. They also helped us to roll with the punches when our VA loan hit a couple very weird appraisal snags that pushed back our closing date and caused some last minute (almost comical) drama. They were very responsive, knowledgable, supportive, and kept a positive attitude throughout the entire process. So grateful to have had them on our team! Highly recommend!

My husband and I had the best experience working with Kelly Hefferon and her amazing team (Annie, Mackenzie, Belinda and Lisa). We were purchasing a house in Beaufort but we live out of town. Kelly and her team worked so hard to make the process so easy for us! I never worried about being out of state because they literally took care of everything!
