Our first ever MCKRE Gives Volunteer Week begins Monday, March 18th, and we need YOUR help to make as much of an impact as we can for our local charities!
WHAT IS MCKRE GIVES VOLUNTEER WEEK?
Our team LOVES to give back to the community. This year, we are collecting donations and spending time with SIX local organizations from March 18th through the 23rd!
MONDAY, MARCH 18 - Title Wave Book Mobile
TUESDAY, MARCH 19 - Habitat for Humanity
WEDNESDAY. MARCH 20 - Leon Mann Jr. Enrichment Center
THURSDAY, MARCH 21 - Hope Mission
FRIDAY, MARCH 22 - West Carteret High School Food Pantry
SATURDAY, MARCH 23 - Misplaced Mutts
HOW CAN YOU BE A PART OF IT?
- Attend our Story Time and Crafts with Joanie at Reed's Coffee, Art and Custom Framing and bring a book donation for Title Wave Book Mobile. Story time begins on Monday, March 18th beginning at 10:30AM.
- Donate or shop at our local Habitat ReStore which provides home decor, furniture, building goods, and more at 5898 Highway 70 in Newport.
- Reach out to the Leon Mann Jr. Enrichment Center to see how you can volunteer your time — we are making and delivering goodie bags for their Easter event!
- Provide food donations for the West Carteret High School food pantry (microwavable meals and hearty snacks) and Hope Mission (any food to help them serve over 160 meals each day)!
- Attend our Misplaced Mutts Adopt-a-thon on Saturday, March 23rd at The Periwinkle at 406 Live Oak Street in Beaufort from 4-6PM. Click HERE for details!
- Not local but still want to make a difference for these organizations? We've started a GoFundMe for folks to provide monetary donations to any of these charities!
