MCKRE Gives Scholarship Opportunity: Receive a scholarship (plus, a donation to your favorite local charity)!
Congratulations, Carteret County Public School System graduates!
To celebrate YOU, your hard work, and the hope you represent for our community, Mary Cheatham King Real Estate is offering scholarships to three graduating high school seniors. Each recipient will also have the opportunity to choose a local Carteret County charity to receive a donation in their name through our MCKRE Gives initiative. Here's how to apply for the MCKRE Gives Scholarship:
Film a short video (up to 2 minutes) about how you've specifically given back to Carteret County during your high school years, whether supporting a non-profit, church group, service project or any local organization.
The MCKRE team will review each video submission and select a first, second, and third place recipient! The first-place recipient will receive $1,000 (plus $500 to donate to a local charity of their choice), and the second and third place recipients will receive $500 to put toward furthering their education (plus $250 to donate to a local charity of their choice).
These scholarships can be used for college, trade school, online classes, or any learning-based endeavor that will help you move forward in your education!
Send your MCKRE Gives Scholarship video submission to: lana@marycheathamking.com by Sunday, 4/28 at 11:59pm. (Note: By submitting your video via email, you are giving MCKRE permission to post the video on public social media platforms).
We will review all submissions and announce the winners and their respective charities on Friday, 5/3.
