Life at 400 E Bogue Boulevard

The owners of 400 E Bogue are moving to be closer to family — a decision they are happy to make, yet leaving their home on Atlantic Beach will be bittersweet. They shared some of the highlights of living at this locale — what makes it convenient and easy and what they adore about it!

First, the location can't be beat! The house is right over the AB causeway to the left — a quieter beach locale with less traffic and crowding, more tranquility and peace of mind. From this home, it's a three-minute walk to the beach and only a 15-minute walk to the private Dunes Club— if you prefer to have your beach chairs and a cocktail delivered straight to you in the sand. Being close to The Circle means you can take a stroll in the afternoon for ice cream, cruise the shops, or enjoy meals out. With all the upcoming improvements, it will be even more of a benefit soon. Golfers, take note! The Country Club of the Crystal Coast is nearby, too, with golf, a swimming pool and a restaurant at your disposal. Fort Macon National State Park is down the road a piece — a 19th-century Civil War fort that features miles of hiking trails and fun for everyone.

Inside, the home is the sellers' refuge from their busy lives. The incredible space and design come with easy maintenance, a huge plus! The gorgeous floors only look like cherry hardwood; they are easy-to-care-for tile! The kitchen might be what the sellers will miss most, with unexpected conveniences that make cooking and entertaining a joy. From drawers to hold your utensils vertically, three shelves of spice racks, a Cuisinart pop-up shelf, to a hide-away coffee cabinet, the features seem infinite! And — every single thing in this home conveys from the forks to the GrillMan grill, the custom-designed drapes (blackout curtains in the bedrooms!), to the Mackenzie Child hall runners. A full pantry of glassware, tabletop and decorative items means you will be ready to host your next party the day you move in! The upper and lower decks are perfect for coffee in the morning and wine in the evening. There is no better place to enjoy the ever-present cool breeze and relax in the sunshine — or switch the shades down remotely for more shade. The garage has everything you might need from the get-go, from beach items to a lawn mower, and both doors open to access the fully fenced-in backyard. This is another favorite spot of the sellers. It's where they play frisbee with their sweet pup!

No doubt, she will miss it, too.
