Every year we love volunteering with Crystal Coast Habitat for Humanity. With no current construction sites in Carteret County for us to work on, we focused our efforts on Habitat's local ReStore building in Newport, where we painted the exterior to give it a fresh, new look!
Here are some ways YOU can give back to our local Habitat for Humanity and help them build hope… and homes… for folks in need.
1. Visit their ReStore at 5898 US-70 in Newport for furniture and decor for your own home — we saw so many things we wanted to take home with us!
2. Are you moving or redecorating? Call to schedule a pickup of any furniture or home items you'd like to donate! If not, you can participate in events like their Charity Golf Tournament on November 2nd or make a donation on their website (linked below!).
3. Get hands-on by volunteering your time! Habitat is always in need of folks to help at their various fundraisers or homes under construction.
